Paranoia: We get it from our mothers. « The Mexican's Lifestyle: "No seriously, I did a bit of research on this. We all got told that one. Didn’t your mom ever shout at you for having a bath during a thunder storm? Yeah right, of all the places that lightening could strike, it is going to come through the tiny bathroom window and fry you, just you. See the seed of paranoia was sown."

A Quiet Beer « The Mexican's Lifestyle
A Quiet Beer « The Mexican's Lifestyle: "While Pablo and myself are working hard on our respective stuff, the Chronicles and Outback Africa we also need a little time out. We went for a beer or two at a beachfront pub, minding our own business. We watched a beautiful West Coast sunset and also got into a conversation with the people, all ladies, at the next table. Just happens that the very pretty girl at this table is a finalist in the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World competition."

Social Media and email marketing combined « One Man's Opinion Blog: "With the explosive power of Social Media Marketing I have noticed some seem to now be neglecting the other means of advertising, like email and newsletters. It would be far more intelligent to make a combination of the two, using the emails to drive traffic not only to your website but your SMM sites as well. I used this method for a company and the results are written below."

Political Solutions « One Man's Opinion Blog: "I am not an anti-war peace mongering pacifist. I do not believe I am a coward. I am not against the idea of killing another man, sometimes it needs to be done. That said I have been watching and listening to the talk in this country from both the right and left wing. ANCYL and ex- SADF diehards. Both are advocating the glories of the past, both are full of shit, there was no glory. Just the brutality of training camps then the hard bush, hunger, fatigue and fear. The damage to the psyche of both the nation and the ex-soldiers lingers on."

The Mexican's Lifestyle
The Mexican's Lifestyle: "For the last ten years, Outback Africa Safaris has been using a fleet of Land Rover Defenders to range far out into unspoilt areas of southern Africa, areas rarely touched by other tourists.
Outback Africa’s philosophy is to expose its guests to the true experience of Africa from the silence of the deserts to its rich cultural diversity and, of course, its unique wildlife."

Something lost or something gained? « One Man's Opinion Blog: "I met a beautiful Japanese girl a few weeks back in Pretoria. We spent a week playing in the city. She is traveling the world. I am in Langebaan working on the Muna Tau Expedition. I can either message her or go on chat, post on her wall, every night.
It just is not the same. I doubt if we will be bothered in less than a year. I think we may have gained a bit, but lost a lot. I am glad that I will go walk in the desert soon."

One Man's Opinion Blog: "So there I was, wondering why this inevitable thing was happening, had happened.
No matter what I do to circumvent this it always happens. Shit! I really do try hard to understand what exactly I do wrong, apart from the obvious, no real job and little money, a gypsy, she can’t be that shallow can she?"

One Man's Opinion Blog
One Man's Opinion Blog: "I have sat for a few days listening to my friend, Mark of Outback Africa, talk about how the Kalahari was 15 years ago. It is still a wild hard place, but not like then, it is disappearing fast. This is one reason why I am here in Langebaan. We have to see it again before it is gone, hence the Muna Tau 100 trip. Come with us before it is too late. Think I am full of it? Please read what is below.

The Great Lizard and Gecko Hunt « The Mexican's Lifestyle
The Great Lizard and Gecko Hunt « The Mexican's Lifestyle: "The Mexican Horse Thief and his main sidekick, Pedro are together, planning the Muna Tau 100 km. While we do this we have the smallest Mexican with us. So began the great lizard and gecko hunt, we wanted to impress the little Mexican and add some more of the reptiles to his collection. You should know by now that the Mexican Horse Thief has been catching reptiles for a few decades and Pedro? Hell, just go look at the photos on the Muna Tau page."

Doors and maybe Windows? « One Man's Opinion Blog: "My friend, Angus, still attends one of my strange classrooms and shares some of the lessons with me. He sent this to me today’s lesson, coincidence? Don’t you believe it! :}
The doors we open and close each day decide the lives we live.
– Flora Whittemore
We often hear the phrase, “When one door shuts, another opens.” It means everything has a beginning and an end. When our travels on one path are completed, another path lies ahead."

Religion and Knowledge. Worlds Apart. « One Man's Opinion Blog: "n case people that actually read this stuff thought my strange classrooms consisted only of rehabilitation and military stuff :}
I first learned about this religious thing as a child and as a child really did not like it very much. My main classroom was The Theocratic Ministry School for two hours EVERY Thursday night. I could read before I went to bloody normal school! Up until I refused to go anymore I spent 1144 hours in just that classroom. Quadruple that figure and you have a rough estimate how long I spent with my head in the Bible."

A Woman, a Bicycle and Africa. « The Mexican's Lifestyle: "A Woman, a Bicycle and Africa.
By waynebisset
My attention was drawn to this young lady when I read about her mission to cycle around South Africa, solo, no support.(Okay, her pretty face on the profile photo had a bit to do with it. :} ) This seemed to me a combination of bravery and sheer determination, but most interesting to me was what type of person would do this? A kindred spirit perhaps? We made contact here in cyberspace and I followed her updates on that trip. I also learned that she has far more courage and ambition that that “little” bicycle ride. “Little”? Yes it was, considering what she is going to do, there is no stopping this woman. Read on, and please help support this amazing mission."
