Get Out of the Box! « One Man's Opinion Blog: "Stretch your arms. Push the lid off the box. Get out into the world. Walk around. Move about. See how connected everything is. See how connected you are, too, to all that is. Make yourself comfortable, wherever you are. Make yourself a home and be at home in the world."

Gaining a Spiritual and Moral Balance « One Man's Opinion Blog

Gaining a Spiritual and Moral Balance « One Man's Opinion Blog: "Here’s the thing. In both my Social Media Marketing and my WWW posts I tend to go on a bit about Balance. This is because I feel, no it IS, in my not so humble opinion, extremely important. How do I know this? My strange classrooms of course! When I was in the Abyss called Angola, I saw some bad shit, but also some of the most compassionate, unselfish deeds ever, proving that war does indeed bring out both the best and the worst in men. I filed this for future reference and fought on. My fight brought me to yet another unusual classroom and the 12 Step program."

Life on Life’s Terms « One Man's Opinion Blog

Life on Life’s Terms « One Man's Opinion Blog: "Accepting what is and not what you would like it to be.

Instead of letting things just be and living in the solutions and not in the problems.

Firstly let me state I F-ing hate it! If I hated mathematics at school, I hate this lesson worse; if my education was of the formal type I would have got a G in this subject, hell no, I would have being expelled from the institutes of learning that give the courses. Some of you will know this institute this came from, and although it is practicably impossible to get kicked out, the gypsy in me moved away on his own accord: but kept the valuable knowledge. Fortunately I cannot get kicked off the mission I started years ago, the Universe will not allow it, I may go AWOL sometimes but always come back. I have to."

Pre – Mexican Events 1983 « One Man's Opinion Blog: "Pre – Mexican Events 1983

On the 7th 0f the 7th month 1983 I stepped into a hell hole called 7 SAI. A basic training infantry camp in Phalaborwa. This was a very hard place and the training grounds called Lataba Ranch was extremely tough. To the extent that I saw fellow soldiers rather shoot themselves or cut their wrists in order not to go back to Lataba.

I would not say this is what made the Mexican follow the road he did, but it most definitely had an influence on his life."

The Chronicles of the Mexican Horse Thief II – Renaissance « One Man's Opinion Blog: "The Chronicles of the Mexican Horse Thief II – Renaissance

Civilian Life

It would seem that I had not yet seen enough. I changed locations and circumstances, but ended up in a much darker, more dangerous place.

I was financially independent, living with Charmaine and her two kids rent-free. My reputation in the area that I lived was established and I always had someone that was willing to go drinking with me. Two of the local pubs became my place of residence. One I kept as a quiet place to relax and the other to perpetrate the image I had created of myself over the last 15 years."

"A soldier of fortune came home from war
And wondered what he was fighting for
This sad-eyed soldier, he broke down and cried
Oh he was so broke up inside

When will it end
When will it end
The bells toll
For those about to die

The battle’s over the war is won
But this soldier of fortune he will carry on
He will carry on when all hope is gone
He will carry on

He’s trained to kill and kill he will
As we march along
Singing just another soldier song
Just another soldier song

I am a soldier of fortune
Destined to keep on marching
I can hear the pipers calling"

The Essence of Freedom « The Mexican's Lifestyle: "The Essence of Freedom

To see what we have never seen,

To be what we have never been,

To shed the chrysalis and fly,

Depart the earth, kiss the sky,

To be reborn, be somebody new:

Is it a dream or is it true?"

The Mexican's Lifestyle

The Mexican's Lifestyle: "One Man’s Opinion already contains The Chronicles of The Mexican Horse Thief, the WWW and a category on Social Media Marketing. This blog will contain what a Mexican lifestyle should be about. What is important to Mexican types and what they get up to. It is also part of a Section Eight Plan.

But that is another tale, that still will be told. If you join the THE MUNA TAU 100 EXPEDITION perhaps you will find yourself in a chapter of The Chronicles yet to be written. :}"
